Course Pre-requisites

Candidates must have completed either the CPCS A16 Industrial Counterbalance Forklift course or the NPORS N001 Industrial Counterbalanced Forklift Truck course and hold the Red ‘Trained Operator’ CPCS/NPORS card. Additionally, a minimum of 6 months of proven experience operating Industrial Counterbalance Forklifts on UK construction sites is required.

Course Structure

This NVQ qualification comprises three units:

  1. (Core) Conforming to General Health, Safety, and Welfare in the Workplace
  2. (Core) Conforming to Productive Working Practices in the Workplace
  3. (Category Specific) Preparation and Operation of Industrial Forklift Trucks for Lifting and Transferring Loads in the Workplace.
