Course Pre-requisites

Candidates must have completed either the CPCS A20 Hoist course or the NPORS N111 Hoist course and possess the Red ‘Trained Operator’ CPCS/NPORS card. Additionally, a minimum of 6 months of verifiable experience operating Hoists on UK construction sites is mandatory for enrolment.

Course Structure

This NVQ qualification comprises three units:

  1. (Core) Conforming to General Health, Safety, and Welfare in the Workplace
  2. (Core) Conforming to Productive Working Practices in the Workplace
  3. (Category Specific) Preparation and Operation of Hoists to Lift and Transfer Loads in the Workplace.
