Course Pre-requisites

Candidates must have completed either the CPCS A04 Tower Crane course or the NPORS N102 Tower Crane course and hold the Red ‘Trained Operator’ CPCS/NPORS card. Additionally, a minimum of 6 months of proven experience operating Tower Cranes on UK construction sites is required.

Course Structure

This NVQ qualification comprises three units:

  1. (Core) Conforming to General Health, Safety, and Welfare in the Workplace
  2. (Core) Conforming to Productive Working Practices in the Workplace
  3. (Category Specific) Preparation and Operation of Tower Cranes to Lift and Transfer Loads in the Workplace.
